Amazing Anzac Day!
Anzac day is coming up and I'm very excited! I have great grandparents who went to war, we have medals and postcards from them, a whole book full!
Today I made a canva artwork about the war. It's three panels, before the war, during the war, and after the war.
Here it is
The first panel is before the war. It shows a peaceful world, clear skies, and everything normal
The second panel is during the war, smoke in the sky, warplanes, and red and orange clouds from bombs and explosions.
The third and final panel is after the war. It is raining, to show sadness and crying, a black balloon flying up to the sky with a medal on the end of the string, to show the bravery of all the men who fought in the war.
What do you think? Do you have any family members who fought in the war?
Until next time!

2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post.
Hi Riley
ReplyDeleteI love this art work. You have captured the lightness and joy of life before war followed by the dreary gloomy skies during the war, but it is the 3rd picture that really captured me! The imagery in this one is so real. While we would be happy the war was over, we would still have strong feelings of sadness and loss for those we lost. My grandfather and great uncles fought in WW2.
